‘Hey, mister! You dropped something.’ Kate and her friends witness a cantankerous old man drop part of a hand-drawn map, but he drives off in his beat-up Ford before they can give it back. They learn the man is Mr. Benson, a former prospector who lives in the nearby hills and wants to be left alone. But when Kate and Tori overhear two men conspiring to rob Mr. Benson of his gold, they know they have to warn him before the thieves can strike.
